How we work

Strategy first. Tech-informed from the start.

Every engagement starts with a decision you need to make soon. We begin with a focused first phase with a clear scope and deliverable, such as a diagnostic, a decision-framing session, a portfolio or roadmap review, or an assessment of a specific initiative or partnership. We expand only when the results justify it.

The approach

Three stages, one decision

The same discipline applies whether the question is a portfolio choice, a roadmap, a partnership or a specific technology investment.

01

Diagnostic

Defining the decision

We start with a focused diagnostic of the decision in front of you, whether it's a portfolio choice, a roadmap, a partnership, or a specific technology investment. Together we frame the question, test the assumptions behind it, and read the evidence through a business and a technology lens.

02

Strategy development

Testing the options

We use structured analysis and executive working sessions to shape the options and choose among them. Technology is tested inside the same business case, for what it does to the outcome. The result is clear about where to invest, what to build, buy, or partner for, and what must hold true.

03

Recommendation

Preparing the decision

We close with recommendations leaders can act on: what to back, reshape, stop, or sequence differently, the conditions that must hold, the capabilities and partners required, and how progress will be judged. Where the decision calls for it, this includes a sequenced roadmap. Execution stays with your teams and the partners you choose.

Principles

AI is not a strategy. It is a tool and a lever.

  • Technology is tested for what it does to the outcome, not adopted by default.
  • Recommendations name the assumptions they rest on and when to review them.
  • Leadership owns the what, where, when and why. Digital and IT teams own the how.
  • We expand only when the results of the first phase justify it.

Facing a consequential strategy decision?

Bring the decision in front of you. We will help you frame it, test it and decide where technology belongs in the answer.
