Advice on the decisions that shape the business
Talon Group Consulting advises senior life science leaders on three kinds of decisions: where to grow, how the organization should run and invest, and whether and how to partner. Technology, data, and AI are inputs to each decision, including whether they belong in the answer at all. We help leadership get the what, where, when and why right. Digital and IT teams own the how.
Growth and Portfolio Decisions
For decisions about which markets, indications, and launches to fund. Talon Group Consulting tests the opportunity and its assumptions, and whether digital and AI belong in the plan.
02Operating Model and Investment Priorities
For decisions about how functions are organized and governed, and which investments the strategy depends on. Talon Group Consulting sets out what to fund, stop, or sequence, and in what order.
03Partnership and Collaboration Decisions
For decisions about whether and how to partner, and which pilots deserve further investment. Talon Group Consulting tests each option and defines what it must prove before it scales.
A recommendation you can take into the room
You receive a recommendation you can take into an investment or governance discussion. It sets out the options considered, the assumptions tested, the trade-offs, and what has to be true for the plan to work. Where the decision calls for it, the recommendation comes with a sequenced roadmap.
Recommendations name the assumptions they rest on and the points at which they should be reviewed, so a leadership team can see when changing conditions mean the plan needs another look.
The advice is informed by how strategies get executed, including data readiness, governance, integration timelines, and organizational capacity. Implementation stays with your teams and the partners you choose.
